Colloquium 2020
The joint BAW/BfG colloquium „Estuaries – Current topics in water ecology and hydraulic engineering” took place on 11. February 2020 in the Katholische Akademie in Hamburg.
The colloquium contributed to the scientific exchange and an improved the understanding of the coastal and estuarine system. The focus of the event was on bank protections using living shoreline techniques, estuarine sediment management and the river Ems as a habitat (Masterplan 2050). The three topics were addressed from the ecological and engineering perspective.
